You might have heard of this ancient Chinese philosophy called Feng Shui, pronounced as “feng shwey” but always wondered what it is. Well, for starters, and in plain terms, Feng Shui determines how you arrange everything especially inside and outside your house or your office or place of business to attract good fortune and good health thereby sucking in positive Qi or spiritual energy.  Chinese believed the utilizing the laws of both heaven and earth to improve life by receiving this spiritual energy is done through Feng Shui. For example, a Feng Shui expert will determine where to put your furniture in your home so that Qi can have a comfortable place to “sit down” or arranging things inside the office as recommended by Feng Shui can attract money. These are some of the things that Feng Shui can do and right now, the western world have embraced this Chinese philosophy and some architects, builders, real estate investors, appraisers and home stagers have applied it in their own profession.
