Are ceramic dog bowls the new craze?
It seems that a new era for dogs has evolved. Recent studies have shown that ceramic dog bowls are a better choice if you are concerned about your pet’s health. Some recent findings have shown that the use of plastic bowls may be contributing to the spread of bacteria among the canine set. This is not surprising. We know from other studies that germs often permeate the plastic. This does not happen with ceramic dog bowls. The plastic bowls are also so lightweight that they create more of a mess to clean up. If your canine friends are like mine, they tend to push the food around in their bowls, and, with the plastic type bowls, you end up with more food and water on the floor than in the bowls.
